Checking mailbox every day waiting for biometrics appointment and find nothing it's getting me frustrating. What else can one do? just wait :sleepy: ​

At least I am being distracted by the load of heavy classes I am taking this semester. ​

I know! I was obsessed during AOS, had so much spare time every day to get frustrated, haha.

Hi everyone, I got my NOA in the mail on Wednesday Aug 24th (had been too busy to come back the last couple days). My NOA date is Aug 19th, the money was debited from my account on Aug 23rd, and the package was received at VSC on Aug 18th.

(I tried to update the main list but it won't let me this time for some strange reason)

Now waiting for biometrics appt :)

I-751 August 2016 filer. 10-year Green card received on Aug 2017.

When was it received?

Also, was your check cashed? If so, there's always a chance it got lost in the mail? Sometimes when this happens it takes longer to arrive. If not, I think you can request USCIS to re-send the NOA. Oh, have you changed your address recently? Maybe it wasn't updated in their system????

My NOA1 date is 08/19/2016 but they cashed my check on 08/24/2016. Its seems like they issue the NOA first then process your payment.

It's weird that people who just recently sent the application have already received the NOA. I sent it almost a month ago and still waiting for it. So anxious. :/

I'm planning to call this Monday. It would be exactly a month since I sent my package.

My lawyer said this...

"It usually comes within 30 days, but there could be a delay for some reason. If the check has been deposited, ask the bank for a copy of the check and see if there is a tracking number or receipt number on the check. Call USCIS customer service center and check on it: 1 (800) 375-5283."

So, I went to the bank to ask for a copy of the cashed check. USCIS stamped some numbers in the back. I don't know which one is the receipt number though. It has 10 digits, but no letters in front of them,

I-751 (Removal of Conditions)

[08/03/16] Package delivered to USCIS (California Service Center)

[08/05/16] NOA (never received, lost in the mail)

[09/15/16] NOA replacement

[10/07/16] Biometrics (early walk-in on 09/27/16)

[05/07/18] Case transferred to NBC

[06/25/18] Interview was scheduled

[07/30/18] Combo I-751/N-400 interview

[07/30/18] APPROVED AT COMBO I-751/N-400 INTERVIEW

 

N-400 (Naturalization) with pending I-751 (Removal of Conditions)

[07/31/17] Package sent to USCIS (NBC)

[08/07/17] NOA

[08/31/17] Biometrics

[12/20/17] In line for interview

[06/25/18] Interview was scheduled

[07/30/18] Combo I-751/N-400 interview

[08/31/18] NOID received

[09/07/18] NOID response sent back to USCIS

[10/02/18] In line for oath ceremony

[11/13/18] Oath ceremony was scheduled

[12/10/18] Oath! Finally a US Citizen!
