They are working on late July filers. None of the August filers have been approved. It remains unclear or even indefinite as to when they will even get to August piles of 751, unfortunately.

I would say in a month they will start approving August-2016 applicants because we have seen the majority of the July CSC VJ applicants approved. The next CSC update is crucial. Would you file for the case outside of normal processing form online if in the next update shows your NOA outside of the normal processing time? How are you doing and how is your hubby's health? Regards

Hey, but, yes, I will file an online request and make an info pass when I am outside the processing times even though i know most likely it will be a waste of time, they will just tell you it is pending, but maybe I can fine out my two applications have been combined for 400 adjudication which is highly likely. My husband will be 90 years old in 6 months and knock on wood, with the exception of problems of walking, his health is steady! We fought to stay together for 20 years and with the mercy of the Supreme Court ruling, we were not able to be recognized until 2013, and it has changed our life forever, so we are hanging on, my goal is to have my husband come with me at the oath ceremony before it is too late. I think we will be ok, I am still collecting evidence, my lawyer also told me never stop collecting until i am 400 approved. I simply don't take any chances, there is too much at stake given our circumstances. Thank you for asking how my husband is doing, that is sweet of you. I think 90 percent we are going to do two interviews in 6 or 7 months, and I am not worried. We will be prepared and I will go with tons of evidence. I don't expect to get my 10 year green card though. I am keeping my expectations low. It will all be over for all of us!

I hope so too. There has only been one documented case of a 400 filer with 751 pending got his 751 approved before the 400 interview, and he is a VSC filer. Hope they will get to August soon, but we are probably going to be skipped over unfortunately for us. Unless they do something different when they get to August which I doubt.

Fingers crossed guys!

My prediction is they might start touching August piles by December, but it may slow down because of the holidays, so they may finish adjudicating August filers by Feb or March. By that time, I will probably be close in getting a 400 interview(in line now)in just 2 or 3 months, there is no way I am going to to get the 10 year green card with the slow speed CSC is going now, and having a 400 pending just solidifies it. I can't wait for this to be over.

My wife has an infopass appointment on October 31st to try and get another stamp since her one year extension letter expires on November 2nd. Do we need to bring anything other than her green card and notice of action that has one year extension on it.

Her conditional green card, passport, driver license, and the 751 NOA notice and the appointment letter are pretty much what she needs, they may or may not take her conditional green card away(They did not take mine). It is really easy and not a big deal. Good luck.

I got my stamp in the passport yesterday. The officer looked at my case and said that because of my N400 application I will most likely not see a 10 year green card - but she also said "Good news - The national Benefits Center started working on your N400 application yesterday (Thursday since this was yesterday)". She said I should keep my eyes open for any interview letter from them in the next couple of weeks. She said that all electronic notifications I may have signed up for are unreliable and not automated. It's up to the officer reviewing a case to update that status. Isn't that weird?

She also told me that applying for N400 delays the I751 because once the officer starts to review I751, and sees there's a pending N400 application, he/she automatically puts it on hold - waiting for N400 to process through instead. So basically what everyone has been saying. Applying for N400 doesn't speed up I751, on the contrary, it slows it down. On the other hand, N400 processes the at the same pace as it should have normally - so if the ultimate goal is N400, you're ahead of the game if you apply while i751 is pending. You will however (most likely) not receive a 10yr green card, which is fine by me I guess.

I don't know how accurate the above info is - but thats what I was told.

You are welcome. I can feel your emotions, unfortunately USCIS is unpredictable and CSC is too slow going at a snail pace. I can say you never know when CSC going to pick up but you and many other applicants who filed in August-2016 with CSC is waiting too much with frustration. I am just hopeful and optimistic. I can't wait for that today to see you become U.S citizen and divorce USCIS forever hhaahhaaaa. Take care and praying for your hubby's health. Regards
