We got approved close to exactly one year from filing...VSC....I think you may be talking about CSC filers....look at my signature below...timeline is there

Yes, CSC filers are the ones that are cursed. The majority of VSC filers are being approved left and right.

New update, now they are currently processing July 5th 2016. So a bit better, 2 weeks per month now. So we are looking at mid November for the CSC August filers. VSC is way ahead of us, they are on August 15th now.

VSC is officially stating that they are at Aug 15th ..........but 70% of September VSC filers have been approved....so in reality they are at September October approval time frame....

On the other hand when CSC says July 5th.... They are still lagging behind in June ....

@friendlyusa Don't forget these stats are as of July 31, 2017 and not end of August or September so your observation is true and makes logical sense given the latest update.

@Zombie69 I think of VJ as providing us with a good representative sample of all applicants. Yes, perhaps there are some statistical biases and skew in the data but for the most part I think on average, it should be able to predict approval times that can guide the rest of us who are still waiting.

It seems like CSC is sending more RFEs to make sure if the applicants are still married!  :bonk:

Well, it's their fault that they have to make sure that the applicants are still married since it's been over a year since we applied!  :dead:

I saw one June filer receiving a RFE since they moved?  :wow:  I wonder if they submitted two change of address forms - one for the spouse and the other for the beneficiary.  :huh2:  Well, some of us have moved since we were renting apartments and bought condos or houses since we sent our applications.

It is like polling that may or may not be accurate. We use 90 some people to determine the actual approval rate, and everyone's situation is different, but it does give you representative idea about the process, it says July 5th now, that doesn't necessarily mean people who applied on July 5th are being approved, some get approved quickly, some get RFEs, some get interviews, there is no absolute but just general process and average. So we will see. I will say another 3 months for August filers.

Yeah, maybe if you move, that might become a red flag for vetting further??lol

There's also I-751 tracker. It's much less representative than VJ but still can be helpful

The time table has been updated on USCIS, now it's July 5th?! I never really understand this table that much, it says last updated 9/18/17, but on the top it says "field Office Processing Dates for California Service Center as of: July 31, 2017"

why can they have a processing date for CSC as of at least August 31, 2017?! why a month and half delayed time table?!
