So that means CSC is more than three months behind of VSC since CSC has approved only few July filers!  :bonk:

Yes indeed, I wonder if CSC applicants get more RFE's and Interviews. The pace VSC is going it seems they don't over complicate things when approving applicants, unlike CSC

I assume CSC conducts fewer interviews since more CSC filers are applying for Citizenship since they got too impatient to wait for their 10-year Green Cards, and their field offices often conduct a combo interview for I-751 and N-400 applications.

I can tell you this...We filed with VSC as we're in Georgia and they did not require an interview prior to our I-751 approval. Bit of a relief honestly as we have nothing to hide,  and there honestly wasn't any reason to warrant an interview in the first place. I was extremely thorough and very good about providing solid and complete RFE documentation,  and that may have played a part. If it did...Great!! All I can say is.. If nothing looks out of sorts and there's no reason for them to question anything, I think it's just a waste of everyone's time, including theirs to even bother with any interview.

As August came and went, with no movement for those of us who filed at CSC... Is anybody keeping a list of what the official USCIS updates have been over the past several months at CSC?

The latest update (posted August 16, 2017) is that as of June 30, 2017, CSC was adjudicating files from June 20, 2016.

Does anybody have this same info for the past several updates, or even ideally back as far as late 2016?

Thanks!

So far, it moves about 5 days per month. It is literally not moving at all. About 5 or 5 July filers have been approved. We will have to see what the update days in about 5 days.

I see more combo filers (I-751 and N-400) on N-400 July and August filers groups.  :)  I'd think it's easier and saves time for CSC to transfer their cases to their filed offices so CSC doesn't have to process them.  They're applying for N-400 so it's like killing two birds with one stone if their field offices conduct a combo interview for their I-751 and N-400 applications.

What I find it bizarre is that the lack of movement of CSC, it won't just affect us, it will affect people who have applied who are applying after us. So CSC is just going to let the process stall and fall further and futher behind?? There has to be an explanation. What's causing the unprecedented delay? Trump? Or they are purposely trying to force CSC applicants to apply for 400? I have no word to describe how ridiculous this whole thing is. Yeah is it very easy just to ignore it and pretend I am focusing on 400. Day after day, month after month, zero movement. Will this even end?

Oh, USCIS....I've experienced this when I was applying for I-130 three years ago.    I didn't hear anything from USCIS for months.  It turned out that they weren't even processing spousal applications since they were busy processing DACA applications.  :crying:  Our I-130 applications were sitting in their warehouse just collecting dust!  :bonk:  They kept telling us that they were busy processing so many applications (yes, non-spousal applications).  :wow:

The annoying part is that USCIS doesn't come up with an official update to let the applicants know the reason of delay. USCIS is run by the money of the applicants so they should show some kind of respect by telling applicants the disparity in VSC and CSC processing.

They won't explain anything to us. We just have to keep waiting and waiting. Respect? No. USCIS is not about respect. It is about government bureaucracy and inefficiency.

I did not have that experience as my 130 was approved on the spot at the interview. The difference is 751 is a major application. 130 is an important step, but they are differnt variations for 130 approval. Some apply for their spouses overseas. Some just apply in the states. But 751, all the CSC applicants apply pretty much the same way. We will see. My guess is 2 years.
