FINALLY got my letter in the mail yesterday. I don't have the card in hand as of yet however it says I have been approved and the card should be in the mail within the next 60 days. I know it will probably make it to me by Monday of next week latest.

The NOA was dated 8/30/17 and received the letter 9/6/17.

Reading threads for different months filers and I deduced that CSC has speeded up slightly. The next update on USCIS website soon will let us know if it's really so.

It doesn't. They process 5 days per month. So in a month it would be June 25, 2016 but hopefully they have moved forward further.

The processing times table says as of June 30th, the field offices were processing applications from last June 20th, and that was as of August 16, that is the last update. So we will know in about a week what the latest update is. They update their processing times every mid month. I would not get my hopes up, I think it will take about a year and 6 months or even more for them to approve July or August filers because they seem to have stuck in late June and early July. We will see, it will be a long wait. Been waiting for 13 months.

Don't trust what they tell you. When I called 2 months ago, I also was told "Who knows, you'll be surprised but you might hear from us very soon". Just a bs that makes no sense.

There is just no way of knowing unfortunately, this CSC delay is unprecedented too.

Alright, a long time lurker, first time poster over here. Received my approval letter today. My stats:

 

Vermont Service Center

Date of I-751 - 08/01/2016

NOA1 date - 08/02/2016

Biometrics date - 08/30/2016

Approved - 08/31/2017

 

More info:

I had an InfoPass appointment (Atlanta, GA) on 08/31/2017 (The date of my approval letter). I went to get my passport stamped due to upcoming travel, got a 1 year stamp. When I inquired about the status of my case the only response that i got was "Your case is still in Vermont , I can't tell you if it's being looked at. Also, it could take up to another year for you to receive your GC". Please note my case was approved the same day as my InfoPass appointment took place, not sure what to think of this whole situation...

Either way I'm extremely grateful to you all for all the helpful info i got out of this thread. Good luck to everyone who's still waiting. I'm off to send out my N-400 application now.

So that means CSC is more than three months behind of VSC since CSC has approved only few July filers!

I think the possibility of waiting for 18 months to 2 years is very real now...
