A couple of July filers have been approved, so that is a bit encouraging, but there is just no way of knowing at this point..

None. I talked to an USCIS immigration officer a few weeks ago. He told me i would get a response by mid Sept. I think it is too good to be true though. However, there have been a couple of July filers that were approved on VJ though, but no. None of CSC August filers have been approved.

Thanks for your response zombie. I'm csc too. Last year when I filed in august my Lawyer told me that it could take up to 10 months. I called him last week and he said that now the waiting is 14 moths. So let's hope to hear something by September like you said or October.

I think USCIS just started being slow since last July; cause my friend filed last May or June, her case was approved in 6 months. Even when I checked CSC USCIS Processing status before I sent in the papers, it says 5 months.  Then it changed to specific date starting in August; no timeframe anymore. Finger crossed All!

Yes, I am an early August filer, Let's hope we will hear from them by the end of this year. Good luck.

Yeah I have friend and his case was approved in six months too. Let's hope that they start approving more this month

FINALLY got my letter in the mail yesterday. I don't have the card in hand as of yet however it says I have been approved and the card should be in the mail within the next 60 days. I know it will probably make it to me by Monday of next week latest.

The NOA was dated 8/30/17 and received the letter 9/6/17.

Thank you for this info!  It seems like the average waiting period for California is 14 months from the date you sent your application

My expectations are so low, my conservative guess is 18 months.

That's the timeline I was told at the Seattle office to get an extension stamp in my passport!  

 

The immigration officer gave me a 1-year extension since she thought it might take more than 6 months from July, 2017.

That's a good news to me, who he is going back to his own country. I see CSC current processing time is 20 June 2016, what does it mean? Does it mean they already get hands on that day's filer or it's been done by the time? Is it likely they will take action on Aug filer a month after?

I still do not believe what the officer told me. I might hear from USCIS in a week?? Really? I will believe it when i hear from them. The processing times table says as of June 30th, the field offices were processing applications from last June 20th, and that was as of August 16, that is the last update. So we will know in about a week what the latest update is. They update their processing times every mid month. I would not get my hopes up, I think it will take about a year and 6 months or even more for them to approve July or August filers because they seem to have stuck in late June and early July. We will see, it will be a long wait. Been waiting for 13 months.
