Hi everyone, 

Hope everyone is doing good! 

I just forgot to update here. We got an RFE from VSC at the end of August. And We sent additional documents on September 21. We are waiting for the result. And my extension finished on the September 22nd. Trying to get an infopass, I talked to the USCIS officer and he said if I can’t find a spot, I can go to the office and tell them that it’s emergency, cause 30 days gonna be over soon. (You need to apply for extension in 30 days after your green card expiration date.)

ROC I-751:

08/03/2016: Mailed I-751

08/04/2016: Delivered to VSC

08/09/2016: NOA received (Dated 08/05/2016)

08/22/2016: Biometrics appointent for 09/07/2016

09/07/2016: Biometrics

Just what to share this with you, I talked to a friend of mine in New York who is not on VJ or Trackit, he just got his 751 approved last month, but he got a stoke interview date right after he went in for his info pass appointment at his field office that had his application which is rare and unusual, he had also applied for 400 after he got the approval right after he passed the stoke interview with his wife , so he is the first case i have heard so far who got a 751 approval upon a pending 400, but he is a VSC filer though, so his story may be an anomaly and may not mean anything to CSC adjudication. We shall see when CSC starts to adjudicate 751 August filers. Good luck.

Sure, he is a June 28th 2016 VSC 751 filer. He is not on here though, he is from Morocco.  Maybe you can add him as "anonymous"? Or I can ask him if he is willing to provide his name to be listed here.

And my extension finished on the September 22nd. Trying to get an infopass, I talked to the USCIS officer and he said if I can’t find a spot, I can go to the office and tell them that it’s emergency, cause 30 days gonna be over soon. (You need to apply for extension in 30 days after your green card expiration date.)

I should not take much longer. I got an RFE also, and they approved me almost three weeks after the received the new documents.

Thank you. Honestly we don’t know why they wanted extra documents. We sent our translated joint health insurance that we got from our country of birth, and new tax documents, cause we already submitted a lot of documents before. They say don’t send the ones you already sent, so it wasn’t much.

08/03/2016: Mailed I-751

08/04/2016: Delivered to VSC

08/09/2016: NOA received (Dated 08/05/2016)

08/22/2016: Biometrics appointent for 09/07/2016

Hope so, it’s been almost 2 weeks now. But the officer said it would be better to get a stamp just in case, cause my case is still pending.

I think they just wanted to make sure you were still together after such long delays on their end, so they would be fine just with the newly filed tax return.

Right after that do you mean on the same day with Infopass?
