I-751 August 2016 Filers

Hello everyone ,

just received the approval letter. My NOA was 08/08/2016, and letter was received today 08/05/2017 when I came home from work. It says I will receive the card within the next 60 days. Filed at Vermont service center. Online status still shows the old NOA information.

also in the letter it says new classification symbol : IR6.

Congrats, but so sad that my NOA is the same as yours, the difference is I am a CSC filer..

Just made an Infopass for Aug 18th. When researching for our move from Oregon to Arizona, (which will happen this month), I saw that the extension letter/expired card isn't listed as acceptable proof of legal presence at the DMV. So I'd rather have a passport stamp, which is on the list.

Been following this topic and it frustrates me that CSC is still on the pile of June. My NOA1 date is Aug 29 but my GC expired Nov 30, 2016. I went out of the country twice with an expired GC and the extension letter. Both travel were a terrible experience as they wont let me check-in. They needed to call a lot of people before eventually checking me in. This coming December I will be going to canada again and I dont wanna experience the same thing. How do i get that passport stamp that people are saying? At the airport check in counters they are also looking for that. I hope someone can help me. Thanks in advance

You have to make an info pass appointment on line, and the officer will most likely give you a 552 stamp which will be good for a year, some give out a 6 month stamp, but most of them will give you a year. Here is the website for the info pass appointment. https://my.uscis.gov/appointment

Welcome to Arizona! I've lived here for 17 years, it's a beautiful place if you don't mind the heat - you have to drive a bit to see the four seasons if you live in Phoenix or Tucson which sounds like you will be.  If you need any help let me know, i lived in Tucson for almost 10 years, now in phoenix. What's funny is we're planning on moving to Seattle or Portland in the next couple of years, we're getting tired of the heat in Phoenix

7/29/16. Realized last month I'm in the wrong thread but still follow this one as It's close to Aug. Our weather is the envy of the nation during winter and that's when we have a lot of visitors in addition to the "snow birds".

Yeah, mine is 8/8/2016. It will have been a year wait by tomorrow since USCIS got my 751. We are kind of on the same boat. Realistically, I think they are going to start approving July pile by Sept or October. In the mean time, my 400 is going out tomorrow.

Exactly, but it will still be nice to know that the 751 is approved meaning they are done doubting you,lol. But most of us will be approved anyway!
