I want to know from those who had their application processed at the NBC (National Benefits Center) of how long was the time to get an approval on the K-3?

The timeline link doesn't give the scatter plot for the average time need to get the K-3 adjudicated. I am curious.

Your case will probably be at MSC only for a few days. I filed my I-130 @ VSC and the I-129F was transfered from MSC to Vermont within like 8 days. I believe all the processing will be done @ VSC

Your case is probably not being processed at NBC. Things have changed. Check your case number. If it starts with WAC, it is in California. Your I-129F is now processed at the same service center your I-130 is. For you, that's Vermont where things move pretty fast lately.

Hmm...The Receipt Number on my I-797C from the I-129F says MSC, and the I-130 says EAC.

Interesting. Well, maybe somebody can verify the case number procedure but your March 19 touch may well have been to transfer the case to Vermont.

consolemaster,

You sent your I-130 to the VSC (formerly EAC), it was received by the VSC.

You sent your I-129f to the NBC (formerly MSC), it was received by the NBC.

Now the NBC will forward your I-129f to the VSC for processing.

I looked at the PROCESSING dates at the USCIS website on the VERMONT SERVICE CENTER. All it shows is the I-129F K1/K2 petitions. However, for K3/K4, only the MISSOURI SERVICE CENTER (NBC) shows that it is processing those petitions.

After sending the I129 to Chicago mine got transferred to MSC, stayed there for a few days and then went off to Vermont where it is now pending. It shouldn't be long until yours is transferred as well. MSC is nothing more than a PO station where the forms are sorted out and shipped off.

12/28/06 - got married :)

02/05/07 - I-130 NOA1

02/21/07 - I-129 NOA1

04/26/07 - Packet 3 received

06/16/07 - Medical Examination

06/26/07 - Packet 3 SUBMITTED FINALLY!!!!

07/07/07 - Received pkt 4

Is it necessary that the service center of a I-130 petition will be same as it's corresponding I-129F?
