Hi all

Questions for my London people,

What documents did you take to the interview along with the I-134 to prove income? I have bank statement, bank letter, pay stubs, letters of employment contracts, will that be sufficient?

Do I have to wait for packet 3 before scheduling my interview?

Anyone got any tips on shipping stuff over?

Thanks

Yes, more than sufficient. They have approved on employer letter alone.

There is no such thing as Packet 3. That terminology and packets went out 9-10 years ago I think. Follow London's online instructions. They lay it out Step 1, Step 2............

Stay in order for best results. https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/fiancee-2/applying-for-the-visa/

Also some additional visual help from London  https://www.slideshare.net/mobile/USAinUK/us-fiance-visas-how-to-schedule-a-k1-visa-interview-in-the-united-kingdom

Can anyone possibly shed some light on how long its taken to have their passports returned by London embassy? Trying to plan a flight, and they say on the website allow a long time but i know it's usually faster!?

thanks

Dont book anything until you actually have your passport in hand, I know you are desperate to get it booked and want the best price but it's a gamble.

I booked my flight for 2 weeks after my interview (at the time it was taking about a week to get the passport back)

The courier lost my package and I had the most stressful couple of days in my life waiting for them to find it!

I took all of that and all they wanted was the employer letter, I'd rather have taken way more than needed then get the dreaded 221 :)

Everything crossed for a smooth and stress free journey
