K1 Mumbai Packet 4 Information

I needed some help understanding the process after the NVC sends the petition to the consulate.

From what I have read is that Mumbai consulate no longer mails Packet 3 or 4. It is emailed to both petitioner and beneficiary. While filing the K1 visa I don't remember having to put the beneficiaries email address in any of the forms, just for the petitioner in I-129F. Does this mean only I will get the email or can I add my fiances email address at a later point or just forward her whatever I get ?

Appreciate any help on this.

If you're lucky you can add her email while the case is still at NVC. Ours was only there for a day so there was no time.

Why is it an issue if only you get the email btw? My US fiancé was the only one who got it but he forwarded it to me. That's not a problem.

Thats what I wanted to confirm is that it doesnt matter who gets the email as long as one of us gets its ...I was afraid they only look for the fiances email, which isnt there anywhere on the forms.

They'll send it to the email address they can find, usually it's the petitioner's because that's the only address you're asked for on the i-129f just like you said. And that's perfectly fine, whatever email you receieve you just forward it to your fiancé. That's what most of us have done.

So just keep an eye on your email and perhaps even the "spam mail" category, you never know where it ends up.
