N-400 Interview decision cannot be made

Hi,

I attended N-400 interview on 7/27. I was given N-652 which states i passed civics and english tests. Also, 'A decision canot yet to made about your application' and IO told me that his supervisor needs to review and mail communication will be sent to me on the decision.

Is this common? Do I need to do anything or wait for the update?

PS: I attended in San Jose, California USCIS office for interview.

Any advise on this will be highly appreciated.

sometimes they hold the decision to do some more background checks. nothing to worry about wait sometime.

This is very common! Usually they tend to pass your A-file to a supervisor for final evaluation before granting a final decision which according to USCIS can be anywhere within 120 days! Hopefully you get an update sooner! Congrats on passing the test!
