Hello everyone!

Me and my fiancée are starting the K1 visa journey. My fiancée lives in the USA and we want to build our future together in the USA.

At the moment my fiancée is with me in the Netherlands during this summer but she will be returning soon :cry: . She will be filing the I-129F paper shortly after she returns.

We already learned a lot through this website (it's amazing!) but we still have some questions and we hope the veterans will be so kind to help us!

- My fiancée will be moving to another house during the visa process (she is currently living with her parents). Is it possible to change the address during the process so that we do not miss any letters from the USCIS?

- When I was born I was baptized and received two given names (like Gerardus Ludovicus). Do I put both names as (first) given names or one as the (first) given name and one as the (second) middle name?

There are some exciting times ahead for the both of us and I hope it will be smooth sailing!

1) You can do an address change by contacting USCIS by phone, however it's been historically unreliable, so make sure you call them again about a month after you did the change and make sure they have your new address.

2) Match your passport. If it has both names as the given name, then that's how you file. I have 4 last names and it was no issue.

Change address at USCIS is tricky.. I don't trust USCIS with anything, we also tried to change our address in between NOA1 and NOA2. We received a message with them telling us the change was done and so on - but it never was. NOA2 still went to the old address.

She's lucky her current address is with her parents, so even if the address change never goes through at USCIS she can still get the papers from her parents.
