Folks,

In spite of sending valid documents to NVC, they sent me a checklist for a document that they already have. I spoke to agents at NVC and they put both the cases on supervisor review.

Should I anyways resend the document or sending it will delay the case further ?

I heard that this supervisor review thing is like a lottery. You can hear something from them within 42 days or you stay in it like a pit of hell.

Anyone else in the same boat ? Please share your experience.

did you originally send copies?

as sometimes they need to see originals and this could be what they are asking for

so, send what they want / they will not do anything until you send what they ask for / supervisor review will probably uphold the request made by the person working on your case and asking for this only delays your own case / send them even if they lost or misplaced them . send them

put the case number in the upper right hand corner along with both DOB's so nothing is lost or misplaced

Thank you for replying. Yes I only sent copies as they only request for copies of civil documents.

They are not exclusively asking to send original of the document in the checklist email.

OK. I will send the document they asked for.

This is sooo frustrating. I saw this happened to many people. That gives me a consolation that I am not the only one.

NVC does not ask for originals; only legible copies. Originals are carried to the interview.

Thats what I thought. They never ask for originals. Earlier they used to but not anymore.

I see you were in supervisor review and came out very fast from that blackhole. Any tips for me please ?
