Oh my gosh, are you serious? I also saw the 1-2 month trend but haven't noticed it to be 2-3 weeks. Are you sure?

09/27/09 - Approved

10/01/09 - Received 10 year green card

U.S. Citizenship

Looking at people's timelines it seems like lately NVC is taking 2-3 weeks from the moment they have the DS-230 until they complete the case. A few months ago it was 1-2 months so this is good news :).

Did you guys notice this too or is it just wishful thinking on my part?

They completed my case exactly two weeks after receiving DS-230. And a week later, they sent the case to the Consulate. It is now ten weeks into the process since NVC received the case. ( of course, I used the Jaime´s shorcuts).

The time we are referring to is after NVC has all the documents (the very last stage before case complete), a few steps after the one your case is at. But a few weeks shaved off that time helps you too since you're going to be at that stage in a month or two. Good luck!

The time we are referring to is after NVC has all the documents (the very last stage before case complete), a few steps after the one your case is at. But a few weeks shaved off that time helps you too since you're going to be at that stage in a month or two. Good luck!

Mine was completed yesterday as well! It arrived at the NVC on the 7th, so that's 15 days - not bad!

I think so too. Mine was received by NVC on March 1. My documents were completed March 14. Now I'm just waiting for my schedule interview.
