Hello,

I was wondering how you talk to an actual person at the CSC? I called but all I got was automated. I tried to get a person on the phone, but couldn't....help please. I would like to know if they have even touched my case. Trying to plan another trip down to my fiance, but if this moves along, I will wait to go to the interview.

Thanks for any help.

You can't call CSC. All you can do is phone USCIS, but even they won't be able to tell you much if anything at all, and mostly it probably not even be accurate.

CSC is now the only processing center for K1s, as a result you can expect that things are slower there than they used to be. The USCIS' blanket goal is a processing time of 6 months, and that's all they will tell you (regardless of if it goes over that 6 months or goes faster than 6 months).

very accurate. To sum things up:

USCIS is clueless as to how long it takes to process a petition.

USCIS can tell you what day they're working on (you can ask both tier 1 and 2 reps to look into this)... but that's useless because they don't do them in order. It's more of a general/vague idea of whether or not they skipped you when they get to you.

USCIS cannot give you a single phone number or email or contact for any of the processing centers. And they don't know anything before 6 months/will not even create an inquiry.

USCIS will not create inquiries more often than every 30 days (there goes my plan of one per day...).

USCIS considers "your petition is pending and we have no timeframe of when it will be completed" as a valid "inquiry update".

DACA processing requests have shot processing times for I-130 and I-129F through the roof. Basically, illegals "kids" of up to 31 years old get processed before us citizens trying to bring over our loved ones.

Because of all of this, you can only hope they don't skip you. If they don't, it's fairly fast. If they do, it seems you have to raise some alarm bells (writing senators, inquiries, ombudsman complaint, mandamus lawsuit, etc), before they will magically assign someone to look at your case.

My PD is Jan 28th.. There are others who have been waiting even longer.
