NVC not asking for passport photos?

Hello!

I'm currently in the middle of getting the AOS/IV packages ready for NVC. Everything I've seen online says to get two passport-style photos taken, but the checklist from NVC did not ask for that.

Am I missing something? We are doing electronic processing through Montreal consulate, and I had sent in two photos of myself (the beneficiary) with our I-130 package.

Met: December 2009

Married: April 2015

Received CR-1 visa: February 2017

POE (as IR-1): April 2017

Oath ceremony: November 2020

Two passport style photos are required at the time of interview. It is not required at the NVC stage. Many people got Case complete without the passport style photo(2x2 inch). Even if you send it to NVC it doesn't hurt. Good luck!

Correct, no photos required for NVC. Not only the checklist, if you look at NVC's website for IV dicuments, it says to bring two pp photos at the interview.

Spouse:

2015-06-16: I-130 Sent

2015-08-17: I-130 approved

2015-09-23: NVC received file

2015-10-05: NVC assigned Case number, Invoice ID & Beneficiary ID

2016-06-30: DS-261 completed, AOS Fee Paid, WL received

2016-07-05: Received IV invoice, IV Fee Paid

2016-07-06: DS-260 Submitted

2016-07-07: AOS and IV Package mailed

2016-07-08: NVC Scan

2016-08-08: Case Complete

2017-06-30: Interview, approved

2017-07-04: Visa in hand

2017-08-01: Entry to US

2016-05-16: N-400 NOA1

2016-05-26: Biometrics

2017-01-30: Interview

Thanks so much everybody! I figured it was the case that they were just needed at the interview, but the NVC guide on here got me confused. I appreciate the help!

What a relief! I was going to have to make an emergency appointment at the hairdresser to get my colour sorted for my photos. I didn't want anyone at NVC to see the grey.

Good to know it can wait a while.
