Hi Everyone,

So my I-129F was sent last week, check cashed today, and I am soon to be receiving the anticipated NOA1, whereafter I can hurry up and wait for the NOA2. I front loaded my application and included my I-134 along with accompanied statements from my bank, employer, and even my 2015 tax return just to be safe. I realize the I-129F doesn't require the I-134, but I went ahead and included it for the sake of being proactive in the information I send my fiancee (in the process of making a copy to send my fiancee based off the master copy).

That being said, I want to take the initiative and get way ahead of the curve with this down time just so we have everything in order and cut down on turn around times or responses to setting up the final interview. Besides sending her the complete copy of the I-129F accompanied with the I-134, what can she knock out on her end? Does it make sense to get a police report and medical review right now? Are there any forms we can pre-fill and get ready to submit (DS160, DS230) ahead of time?

I'll be adding to the evidence (153 pages) to establish a current on going relationship and write another letter reaffirming my love for her if needed or recommended (does she need to write one too?), as well as sending her copies of all documentation of contacts with the USCIS, Dept. of Homeland Security, State Department, and National Visa Service Center.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everybody!

First of all, when it comes to filling out the DS-160 and have it completed, you will need Case and Invoice number from NVC after your petition NOA2 approved to be used to pay the fee for the k1 visa application.

Second, in some countries they will require police reports within the last 6 months. Depending on how long the petition process will take you, I would hold on that for not. I know in Singapore were my fiance is filing, they will not issue her Police report until she bring a proof from the embassy requesting it..and that will take her 15 days to get it after providing the letter document from the embassy.

Third, I suggest that you request a copy of your transcripts from the IRS. I hear that consular rather look at transcripts copies from IRS.

Fourth, I would send another letter of intent to marry within a month or so from the interview date.

Fifth, I am not sure about China and medical exams, but normally the embassy will provide you when to take medical exam along with packet 3 that is normally send out to you. What your fiance can do is, look at the required vaccination and try to get them all shots taken in advance so she have the book showing she complies with US laws when it comes to vaccination. That she can do anytime on her own and pay less outside rather than during the medical exam which I hear can be costly.

I am not expert on China's Visa processing, but I believe this is typically how it goes...If anyone more familiar with China and the procedures they can correct me or add to it...

Good luck
