Category is Cr1/Ir1priority date 2/1/16 but, because I am a US citizen the priority date doesn't apply to us.

We don't have to wait for a visa to be available. ?

I dont know whats going on. My cc was june 30. And no interview scheduled. I see vj members with cc date very close to mine with interview dates set. Would really hate to wait until the end of august for a date.

I was shocked that my interview was at the end of September and another person also got cc June 27th and her interview is September 28th. I guess there isn't any more dates available for September because I barely made it for September. I think their next scheduling unfortunately is the end of August.

My fiancé' interview in Kingston is September 28! I think I've filled out everything to prepare but the I 134. What do I do with that and what is needed? Is there a checklist to be sure everything is done prior to the interview? How long will it take after the interview before I can bring him home with me?

Since I'm in the US, I just want to be sure he has everything he needs. I will be there a couple days before interview.

Hey I got our case complete September 7th and we are waiting for our interview date now.i was told by a few people who have been through the process that the last week at the end of the month and the 1st week of the new month they start scheduling. I'm really hoping to get an interview for November but how likely is that? I guess what I am asking is, is the embassy very backed up at this time? And is there any way to find out this info? And when they do give us our date how much time will we have before the interview because I want to be there with my husband and daughter at the interview. I would like an estimate of when our interview will be . anyone know? Also if we don't hear from them in the next two weeks does that mean that we just keep waiting for the end of next month to hear or will they contact us and tell us they ran out of interview dates for the month? Sorry for all the questions and thank you for your help.

The typical wait time for an interview date for cr1/ir1 visa category in Jamaica is around 90 days from case complete. My case was completed June 21st got the date July 26th and interview is Sep. 26th. So your interview should be scheduled end of October and the interview date might be around the beginning of December.

Nobody knows the exact date, but its usually a 90 days wait from CC to interview date. You might get a date towards the end of December.
