London Question: Can I schedule my interview online before CEAC status changes to 'Ready'?

So we've collected all the forms needed for the interview, received our LND number from the NVC, and filled out our DS-160. We've booked the medical and are preparing to pay the fee now.

So now we've got everything needed (as I understand) to schedule the interview online, but I'm seeing some posts saying that our CEAC status needs to shift from 'at NVC' to 'READY' before we can. Is that true? Will it have any kind of negative impact if we schedule it now?

Often, the system will not "recognize" your number until London is "ready" for you to proceed. If you are too early it won't let you in to book a date. You've also missed a step https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/fiancee-2/applying-for-the-visa/

Ah, yes -- the system didn't 'recognize' us as ready.

? Which step am I missing? We've also filled the Notification of Applicant Readiness Form; I just forgot to list it! Is there something else?

You didn't mention Step four so it was assumed you were missing something.
