i entry with my visitor visa months later i met my now husband on that time

we were just friends. so we got married and now i applied to AOS

WE ALREADY SEND ALL THE forms, i went to biometrics too but now i got this letter

saying that they need my I-94 or copy of my passport stamp

when i entry the country the cbp office never stamp my visa or gave me an i-94 i went online and couldnt find it, it says user not found

i went to uscis office and request the i-94 and they didnt give me any information they told me just to send copy

of my visa again and a letter describing the port of entry , date and time and also if i have copy of the flying ticket .

im worried cause they gave us 87 days to get that paper and now we have like half of the time left.what if i send this letter with allthe information and doesnt work?

is there anyway to get the i-94 ? or should i apply for i 102 ? i dont know what to do cause we need to travel outisde the country

and without the I -94 my work permit or advance parole wont be granted ...

any suggestions please

You can get it here:

https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/consent.html

Or you can't get it because you came by land?

i tried that already and it says user not found, i even tried all possible combinations of my name and its the same ...user not found....

it is frustrated that they need that . i thought they could just check my visa number or passport and have the record of my entry...

You enter it exactly as it is in your passport?

Okay then that is why. It sucks that they didn't at least stamp your passport then.

I hope someone else can give you the right answer!

yes, just like the passport, even the person that helps us fill out the paperwork couldnt got it.

she made an appoinment at USCIS to request the i94, we went there today and i was told to send a letter with the port of entry date and time and copy of my visa ...... i think im gonna do that and see what do they response, maybe i can get more time to get the i94 :(

How to Address Problems with the online I-94 system if they come up:

  • If the information is not correct on the I-94: You may need to visit a local CBP Deferred Inspection office to request changes. The phone number to the San Francisco Deferred Inspection office is (415) 844-5227.
  • If you cannot login to the I-94 system: It is possible that the Form does not exist because of a system error. It is more likely that the data is formatted differently than you entered it. Double-check the name or combination of names used. If you can't correct it, call or visit Deferred Inspection. The phone number to the San Francisco Deferred Inspection office is (415) 844-5227.

Found this, maybe you can give them a call tomorrow. Don't know if it will help, don't know much about it when you don't have anything at all but maybe worth a try.

I assume you crossed the border by land. I'm not sure if this is the case for Mexicans, but CBP officers often don't issue paper i94s for Canadians, and stamp their passports. Tbh, the only time I can recall a Canadian getting a stamp (and i94) was when my friend was pulled into secondary. If that's the case then I believe there is an option where you can just write 'No I-94. Canadian (or Mexican in your case) visitor' - search for 'canadian no i94' in the AOS forums. You can always go to a local CBP office to confirm that you were not issued an i94 (it helps if you go their office with specific dates of your visit).
