Hi all

this is my situation right now and i'm a bit confused and i wanted to make sure i understood this part in the Visa journey.

Immigrant status states it's ready but when I go into non- immigrant visa status it states-- no status. Is this normal? Will they change as the date grows closer.? Am I-- to reach out to the consulate and let them know I have my fiance interview date?

Please advise-- cause I didn't even look at the immigrant drop down till yesterday and the interview is a month away. At one point back in May it did state it was in Transit.

If I did my visa as non immigrant application and it's been paid and hopefully processed since May. Why wouldn't it show up on the site when I enter the AA confirmation?

Which one holds a true statement ?

Please advise.

It's supposed to be like that. Once you receive your case number from NVC you check your case online as "immigrant", even if the K-1 is a "non-immigrant visa" it has immigrant intent.

K-1: 12-22-2015 - 09-07-2016

AP: 12-20-2016 - 04-07-2017

EAD: 01-18-2017 - 05-30-2017

AOS: 12-20-2016 - 07-26-2017

ROC: 04-22-2019 - 04-22-2020
Naturalization: 05-01-2020 - 03-16-2021

U.S. passport: 03-30-2021 - 05-08-2021

Yes it can get confusing as my immigrant states that it's now at administrative processing as of today, that moved from "ready" when I look at the non immigrant it states issued and if you don't have your visa within 10 business days contact the consulate in Montreal. It has been more then 10 business days and I did contact them and they had no answers.

It's just odd that one says one thing and the other says another. Best to just keep checking status and email consulate if any questions or concerns arise.
