I don't live in Phoenix that's where my lockbox is when I started this process but Im in Vegas I'm going to fly him to lax and drive to pick him up there since it's cheaper I won't be able to control myself until I press purchase then I'll know it's real lol

I don't live in Phoeni.. Phoenix is where I had to send my petition when I started I found a really good site skyscanner and I'm just going to fly him to lax since it's cheaper then him coming to Vegas where I live

I got my passport in 3 days. I have seen people here getting passport as late as 2 weeks. But someone here is right, never purchase a ticket unless passport in hand. But, I would say, You will be fine.

Even the embassies always say on their website to NEVER make travel plans unless you have the visa in hand.

I say this as Morocco granted visa to a man and then revoked it

Not to discourage you and i say congratulations but seems some of the embassies are doing that now

the response from them was they didn't commmingle finances and this had been done in 2012 after the 2010 marriage on the first visa try

seems some don't have to commingle finances till person is in US but from Morocco they do

BTW they did joint taxes, had him as beneficary on 401 K and had joint bank account since 2012

The day I got approved I got so exited I immediately booked a ticket for 2 weeks later. OUCH.

Everyone else in my country had their visa in hand 2 or 3 days later. I got it 1 day before I left

I think it was karma lol. But yea, u will save urself A LOT of stress to wait a little bit longer! Get off skyscanner so u don't miss good prices or anything!

Embassy's state Do not finalize arrangements for travel to the United States, dispose of property, or resign from your job until a visa has been issued and delivered to you. Generally, a single-entry fiancé(e) (K1) nonimmigrant visa is valid for six months from the date of issuance, unless its validity is limited by medical or other restrictions.

I have seen many who have been burned buying a ticket before they have their visa in hand.
