Hey everyone. It has been a long time since I've been here. My wife and step daughter came here on the fiance visa in 2012, we got married withing the 90 day period as per the requirement. My question: we just had our 4 year anniversary, and we are finally at a place financially where we can start the adjustment of status for her and my step daughter.

Since we've already been married 4 years, is there anything different I need to be aware of?

I feel like I'm starting from scratch here, I used to have all of this memorized, now I'm relearning the process.

They probably need new medicals as their medicals from K1 have expired. Other than that there isn't anything you specifically need to be aware of. Each of them needs to file AOS. When their AOS is approved, they should become non-conditional permanent residents with 10-year cards; if they get 2-year cards it needs to be corrected.
