Does my fiancé call the embassy? Also I see in the instructions that there is a link for the medical but the interview not sure exactly. Hoping for easier answers thank you! She needs the medical scheduled before the interview? Can she do both in one day since she lives a bit far from Paris...

You and her will have to do some work and research things better, have her call the medical place to see if it's possible to do everything in a day. Probably not.

This is what a quick Google search helped me find https://fr.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/

Choose fiancé and see number 2 to where and how to schedule the interview

Also, you seem to have received an email from the embassy, that email is for your fiancé and it can't be that hard to read and understand she has to get documents and schedule a medical and interview.

You're posting multiple times about the same thing over and over. Take the time to read and understand

Good luck

When you check your case on CEAC what does it says exactly ?

Also , in the email ( which is certainly what I'm assuming being the packet 3 ) is there anything written about the DS-2001 for having more information about how to schedule your medical/interview

Here is a sample you can find online :

https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/pk%203%20supplements/PRS%20-%20Paris.pdf

I'm at this step of the process where our case is "ready for interview" but we haven't received anything about our case yet , no email from the US embassy in Paris , this is a bit blurry from my point of view , everything went smoothly until now :goofy:

Could you please tell us what the email is saying ? keep in mind there is 2 doctors for the medical exam , and one requires to make appointment online ( and only ) the other by calling his office.

Perhaps you should try to contact the US Embassy and ask about the DS-2001 and see if it is the best way to start scheduling your interview

Perhaps visiting this link may surely help you then :

https://fr.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/

There is step by step what you gotta do , your fiancée will have to go to https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-fr/iv

This post is probably more accurate than what I wrote above and i'm sorry for that , the DS-2001 seems to be an old form you had to fill to start the process of scheduling the interview. Hope this helps

Thank you for your help I really appreciate it. So my fiancé finished the DS160 form a few days ago and now needs to schedule an appointment for medical and interview. She went to the website you sent me and got to a part where it said no appointments available which was strange. She called the doctor and they said she needs to have an appointment date for the interview first before having a date for her medical. Can you help me out with what's going on here. Almost there and it's still stressing me and her

Okay here is why it seems to be confused :goofy:

this website I gave you above is actually made for registering your adress , paying the fees AND scheduling the interview at the embassy , certainly not the medical

Now, do you know which doctor your fiancé is going to ? From my recent research on the web I found that by choosing Dr. Gunita JOLLY you can schedule your medical appointment via her website. I would highly recommend to make a phone call in the morning in order to schedule the medical , however there is something that I recently read, the interview at the embassy must be scheduled before the medical :clock:

Oh ok. So as of right now she is not seeing anything available to make an appointment just yet. I guess should she just keep trying everyday on the website until one opens up? Has this happened to you before? Also thank you for this doctor. Where are you now in this process? We just need to get an appointment date and than she will make the medical appointment. We got the letter saying to make an appointment so just wondering why she isn't finding any appointments available...

She should me and it just says no consulate appointment Available. At the bottom it's say " there are no available appointments at this time. Please check back in a few days as the consular section will open more appointments"

Okay this is apparently a common for French applicant even here on VJ :crying:

I heard this problem several time , from what I heard the best thing to do is surely trying to login the website at different hours everyday until you can book an appointment then. So is there only August booked or the following months as well ? This is a weird system I would agree with this :cry2:

Well we , my fiancée and I are waiting for the embassy to send us the instructions via e-mail and then we can start that last and final step , scheduling everything in order to be together forever

You specified a letter in the message above , well who received this letter ? The petitioner or the applicant ? This is confusing so what I would do would be to try to login the website for scheduling the interview, if it doesn't work after trying in the mornign , at night no matter what time of the day then you or your fiancé(e) should probably make a call.
