Flu jabs in the UK

So it looks like my interview will be December/January time based on similar timelines. Right in the middle of flu season.

I have always been offered a free flu jab due to my existing medical condition but have never taken it. For the London embassy, is the NHS one sufficient? Is there any difference in that flu jab and the ones offered by Boots et al during the winter for about £10? Does it have to be a certain strength or dosage? Or is a flu jab always a flu jab? I'm not a medical person so I have no idea. If the NHS one that is offered to certain people is sufficient then I'll take that this year and save the money.

Timeline in brief:

HI take the free one- save money even if it is only £10.

I had the boots jab used my receipt as proof - box ticked

my daughter had hers at school and a piece of paper from school advising box ticked.

just make sure its on your vaccination records when you go for medical and all will be good

Thanks everyone. I'll go with the free one. The £10 is better off in my pocket than Boots!

I did my @ my GP for £10. If yours will be free why not,you can have lunch with the £10 after the medical.

This is the greatest lesson a child can learn. It is the greatest lesson anyone can learn. It has been the greatest lesson I have learned: if you persevere, stick w/it, work @ it, you have a real opportunity to achieve something. Sure, there will be storms along the way. And you might not reach your goal right away. But if you do your best and keep a true compass, you'll get there. Edward M. Kennedy,
