Hello All,

My wife and I already filed her 1-751 to remove conditions and we finsihed the biometric appointment. I do have 2 questions though:

1) I feel we did not provide enough supporting evidence. I provided joint tax forms, joint auto insurance, and joint credit card statements. However I really wish I had provided more. My question is, can we mail in more supporting documents right now or is it too late? Do we have to wait for a request for more evidence?

2) We are unable to find her foreign passport and my wife is freaking out. I am under the impression that since we have no plans on leaving the US and she has her green card, we dont need her foreign passport. From what I have read, once the conditions are removed we will be mailed a 10 year green card and then she can apply for US passport when she is a citizen. Is this accurate?

1. When you get your NOA you will see that it states you have another opportunity to send in evidence. :)

2. Yes. But the earliest she can file for citizenship is 3 years minus 90 days since she has been a permanent resident if she is still married to you. (Which I am guessing will be about 1 year from now)

Good luck!
