Nothing controversial. Just some insight into what police deal with every day. I wonder what some here would do/say if they had to deal with this ####### on a regular basis? I wonder if they would think cops are out of control, and are killing massive amounts of us for no reason, if they had to walk a mile in their (the police officers') moccassins.

We all have jobs to do. We all have our own variety of nonsense to deal with on a daily basis. None of this is an excuse to be a bad cop. None of it is an excuse to shoot or injure or kill someone for no reason, as a cop, or for any other reason as a person.

Absolutely correct. When it happens in the line of duty, and it turns out to be an accident, no need to ruin someone's career over it. I am sure any normal person in that situation will suffer thru their own version of hell for what they did, even if unintentional.

When it happens due to a "rogue" cop, or someone who is abusing their authority, steps should be taken so that it never happens again. Make a few harsh examples out of a few bad cops, and I think it would go far towards reducing an already low percentage even.
