Today my wife had her medical at Medisys in Montreal. We had booked an appointment for 10:45 am but she decided to reach the place earlier and took an Uber and arrived by 9:15 am. It was her first experience with Uber and she highly recommends it, as it’s very cost efficient. Once she reached her destination the building was easy to identify.
The building had a glass exterior with a red entrance that read 500 ouest. At the ground floor of the building she was greeted by the friendly staff at the reception and guided to the 11th floor. When she reached she had to stand in queue and wait to be called from a line of 5 candidates. Soon it was her turn and at the front desk she was asked to submit her interview letter, 5 photographs and original passport, which they took a copy of and returned the passport. The staff handed her a clipboard which had some forms that included questions about her medical history and asked her to return it once she was done.
The forms were returned at 9:30 am but she had to wait until 11:02 am to be called by a physician. The physician asked her questions based on the forms she had submitted and took her vitals and then asked her to wait in the reception until she gets notified. 10 minutes later she was again called, this was for her x-ray. It was very brief and she was again asked to wait to be called. In 15 minutes another staff called for her and she was guided into an examination room, here they tested her eyesight, drew her blood for tests and gave her a vaccination shot. She was then asked to wait at the reception for 30 minutes. While waiting, the lady at the front desk called out for her and she was asked to make a payment ($400 CAD) and then advised to collect her reports on Wednesday.

seems the waiting time was long , glad that she went early

The only vaccination that was required was for rubella as i had asked her to do a titer test earlier this year

The extra vaccination was $60 CAD
