heheh, it's so good, it's worth correcting:

It pays to remember that the Department of State has a "fraud profile" by overseas post -- and from bad to worse on fraud it is -- "low fraud", "medium fraud", "high fraud", "Lagos". [i've been told this by ex-ConOffs].

oh no!

I am *so* overdue for an external HD. I shudder to think what would happen...

I had backed up everything, I thought.

But when it died I could not recover my Outlook pst file, so all my notes and contacts went.

I now also have a San Disk Cruzer, $18 for 1 GB. Comes with software that backs up Outlook so I can have all that with me as well as a secure copy of any other crucial bits..
