I have my case number and IIN and have been able to go online but may need to wait a couple months before I can pay my fees as I can't afford it right now. Is there any time limit or will there be any issues if I delay paying? Also I don't have a checking account will it be okay to have a friend pay through her bank account?

i guess you should be fine for some months

ideally if you don't complete NVC procedures within one year the case is dismissed

I understand there can be some financial difficulties. I saw your case is in Ghana. Try your best to speed it up because even after the final NVC process which can take about a month to complete, you don't get interview until 4,5 months. You don't want to delay more on your part. Good luck.

Thank you. Would it be okay to pay one now and then the other later or just wait to pay both same time.

It would be better to process everything together.

You don't want the NVC to think that only the primary beneficiary is immigrating and the person you didn't pay for is not.
