HEE you guys are great! It makes me smile that you two are as excited about our NOA2 as we are (is that even possible though? NAH!! :P

I'm thinking that I will call the NVC a week from today and see if its been there and gone, or what the deal is. Thought that'd be enough time for them to get it, give it the new case number and send it on its way - but we'll have to see.

My dear sweet Chas - sigh. When I called, he was asleep - he looked at caller ID and it said number withheld - so he thought I was a telemarketer and ignored me! He eventually got up and checked his emails, whereby he saw the approval email that I had forwarded to him. Then he called me. :D We had brewskis last night as we sat and talked. :)(L)

Now next hockey season you can enjoy brewskis together!!

Yeah, he was excited. He said that he didn't know many people to call and tell about it - but he called everyone he could think of, including an expat friend of his who now lives in Texas. :)

Personally, I feel like a great weight has been lifted. I have had a numb left hand and left foot for the past month and a half solid (thanks to a pinched nerve bundle in my neck). Mirculously yesterday - nada. :)

Edited when I saw Amanda's post to say -- heck yeah!!!!!!!! I'll be calling my Preds ticket rep when I get back from London to add another ticket to my account for next season. :) :) :)

Stick by me and you'll learn fast. ;) There are always LOTS of hockey virgins around yet so you won't be alone.

Well it will be next year! For sure.

This year will be jammed with the wedding, other weddings, and perhaps maybe a honeymoon!!

I am excited!! We go to an Irish pub downtown a lot. Forget the name but perhaps that could be an option as well!

Well hockey season is over in June-ish anyway (after the playoffs) so it'd have to be next year!

That Irish pub in downtown Nashville (Seanachie's) closed a few years back. We can pick somewhere else though!

Ahh yes, I remember wanting to tell EVERYONE, and the disappointing reaction I got from just about everyone I did tell... kind of 'huh? what does that mean? are you allowed to move over there or not? when you do get your visa? um, that's...... great'.

Glad the bunched-up nerves have relaxed - numb hand & foot sounds no fun at all! That said, I think my muscles are permanently knotted into an un-relaxable tangle that would take months of massage to fix! Must learn to relax...

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

There is a Bailey's pub downtown as well, but I mostly think of that as a pool hall (moreso than an Irish pub).

Featherb - that is EXACTLY it. No one knows what it means, but they try to be excited for you anyway.
