I'm new to this site so I apologize if this is not in the right section. But I am having some concerns about the I-134 for the k1. My fiance is from Italy and I'm wondering if anyone knows if they require the employment letter and the bank letter? I make a bit over the 125% mark but not by much as I am only working part time while I finish my last semester of RN school. Just looking for any advice from someone who has gone through this with the consulate in Italy. Thanks!

If you are at or over the 125% with your employment, that's all that is needed. You would only need to submit tax returns (most people send 3 years), W2's, a letter from your employer. You would need the bank statement, if you were basing it off of assets. I am not going through the Italy consulate, but the proof required with the I-134 is basically the same across the board.

As a side note, you can order your tax transcripts from the IRS, or download them from the website free of charge. They usually have them mailed out and delivered to you within a week.

You do not need 3 years of tax returns, just the most recent year. Provide proof of your current income with a letter from employer and/or recent pay stubs too. No need for bank statements. Your consulate info > http://italy.usembassy.gov/visa/iv/application.html#as
