NEED Help! I751 outside processing times.

I filed my I751 back in August 5th 2015. The only thing the website shows is receipt of August 12th , 2015 for the California service center. Everyone here on VJ seemed to be approved between 4-6 months from the CSC. We called in many times. We have filed 2 different case status updates for case being outside of normal processing times. We only get form email letters saying they will respond within 45 days. But never get any response. We have called in multiple times to take to an immigration officer who just says it is still being processed and they have no access to the file that we just have to wait for the actual case officer to respond to the service request. Although he never responds, we have filed 2 different service request now with no response. We have been trying to get an appointment at the local uscis office but everyday it just says there are no available appointments try again tomorrow.

We feel like we have been lost in the system. No idea what to do. Any suggestion on what are options are at this point, besides just emailing congressmen asking for help??

Not everyone is getting approved in 4-6 months at CSC. Take a quick glance at the monthly threads between October - January and you will see there are several people waiting since well beyond 6 months. I am waiting since 7.5 months.

That being said, since you filed in August 2015, you should be eligible to file for naturalization. Have you considered it or is that not an option for you? If not, yes contact your local representative or senator for assistance.

You would force the adjudication of the ROC if you apply for citizenship (naturalization) now. Good luck.
