Not hate-nor race-related. Just a cop doing his job, and getting killed while doing so. I am posting this not because it fits the mold of the recent cop killings, but to ask other to put themselves in the shoes of a police officer for a moment. Ever day comes with the promise of potential danger, and possible death. E.V.E.R.Y. Day. Consider that when you say they shoot too soon, and they should give their perps "a chance". I believe that 99% of all police officers want nothing more than to do their jobs and go home to their families at the end of the day, just like the rest of us. Yet for a pitiful salary, they put their own lives on the line to protect and serve. Think about it, think about how YOU might react, if you went to crime scenes many times a year, and faced a "shoot-or-be-shot" scenario more than once. I doubt very seriously I could do any better than the average cop, and they do it many times a year, potentially.

May they all remain safe...
