most certainly. she's well qualified and imo, anyone who doesn't acknowledge her friggen lifelong experience in the policital arena ultimately has an issue with not being a white male - either conscious of this prejudice or not is neither here nor there. i loathe hillary but i'm not so stupid to think that donald trump is more qualified than hillary. he's not qualified, period. lowest common denominator = trump. he's foul.

actually, no. this is why when you apply for jobs you give references and list your qualifications. i've never seen a band put out an ad saying "now hiring guitarist, if interested please make sure you've never touched a guitar"

dude that is exactly the point. of course you're not going to consider all of those people who have touched guitars qualified to be in the band, but you're not even going to look at an applicant who has zero experience. and i wouldn't be so adamant about the experience angle when it comes to trump if i hadn't been hearing for years now that obama didn't have the experience to qualify as potus. these same folks think trump does. that's not even hypocrisy. that's straight up ignorance, more than likely rooted in bigotry.

no, with hillary, things will go on in more or about the same manner. i don't believe for a second she's serious about the platform her and bernie worked on together but her platform alone isn't going to do us in. four more years of trickledown and a feigned (and uninformed) allegiance to state's rights above all else very well might.

Yep, they tried every which way they could to discredit him. So much in fact the RNC and quite a few GOP members refuse to believe he's not a Muslim and wasn't born here in the US. That's racism, pure and simple.

But it is really his fault that we're stuck with Clinton/Trump. Because before 2008, nothing but white men ran for office. Shirley Chisholm was the first black woman to run back in 1968, but even the few black men who ran after that, no one got even within spitting distance of the nomination. And that's why you're seeing this. They won't put someone that's on par with Obama, because that would admit he is the bar to meet/pass. They're going to put a guy who's less than him in every way, just to let folks know, even when you're the POTUS, it's still not equal.

At the end of the day it's a matter of opinion. I have never, ever, said Trump will make a good president, quite the contrary, pretty much the most optimistic thing I said about him is he may be like maybe 1% better than Hilary. At the end of the day that's pretty much a tie. I know to you it's just as bad as endorsing him being you think even Hilary would be worlds better than him but I just don't see that. I just don't think she will make a good pres. I don't think Trump will make a good pres. I didn't and don't think Obama made or makes a good pres. I guess I just have unrealistically high standards for what a POTUS should be lol
