Approved Visa Stuck on AP

We were approved at the Manila Embassy on 07/11/2016. There was no denial or additional info needed and the Consul told my fiance everything was good and to wait 7-10 days for the visa. The case sat on "Ready" and case open until 07/18. Now it's just sitting in Administrative Processing. From my understanding, approvals are usually only in this status for 1 - 2 days total. It's so frustrating being the exception! Hope to see an update soon!

One of my friend had applied for his parents to visit USA, and they received the Visas (passports with visa stamp) after two months. Their status was also Administrative Processing for two months. But eventually they received it. I hope yours come sooner.

Hello Please relax. I got my passport/visa 12 business days from my interview, though they said, it takes 3 to 5 business days.

I was frustrated too that time, but it won't help. There's nothing we can do about it but to wait.

Just sit back and relax cuz your only stressing your self out my wife's visa took 16 days to reach MOA I had to rebook our flights that's why they say no to make any travel plans to you receive your visa

I think what has been stressing me out is the lack of "touches." It was touched once the day after the interview and then again Monday. Most others have said their dates kept updating, but the status was the same.
