Hi every one. So we got the interview notices and I had a couple of questions.

A.Do we need to bring a translator? who's allowed in the room?

B.What kind of questions do they ask?

C.Can I assume that because they scheduled the interview they are accepting the general premises I laid out in the AOS packet? IE the case laws sited about communism/immigrant intent. Etc.

Thank you,

Harry

If a translator is needed bring them, I think the notice mentions that. As to questions, that depends on the type of interview, but if you get a basic interview they will review the I485 form and all the yes/no questions, they will most likely ask some questions about the wedding, and family, as well as requesting any information regarding co-mingling of assets. We brought copies of both our K1 and AOS packages as well as insurance forms, bank statements, updated tax information since the AOS filing, wedding photos, and other personal items addressed to both of us. They want to see a bonefide marriage, and they want the truth.

Good Luck!

Bill/Katya Thank you for the info! It will be our parents who will be in the interview. So I dont think there will be any proving of relationship status type questions. but who knows.I guess that is where I am sort of at a loss, I am not really sure what they ask parents Of USC. I am trying to think of what to bring/ how to prepare.

Thanks

Harry

You should start posting your questions in the appropriate forum. This forum is for those adjusting from K visas, and that is why people answer as such.

Bring your own translator.

Not sure of what they ask when you are sponsoring your parents, but you can search the forum for general AOS interview questions.

If you are asking if an interview means no more chance for RFE, then no. You can get an RFE at the interview, request for second interview, or a denial.
