DOS says Visa is issued . . .

WELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL, i just got off the phone with the DOS and I SWEAR she said that the visa was issued on March 15th!!! YESTERDAY!!! While I was on the plane flying back from Egypt!!! Should I call back again to double check to be sure???

You know that it is too late in Cairo to check with TNT (the courier commpany) to find out if they have the visa because they close at 9pm (and it is nearly11pm now) ??? and now we will have to wait maybe 2 more days to find out??? Can't check with the Embassy because they will be closed Friday and Saturday!!! OH MY!!!!

LOL. I couldn't believe it when I heard it and my Egyptian friend had just stopped by to get some things I brought back for her from Cairo so she is the first one to know. And she is leaving tomorrow for Cairo and she told me to talk to him to see if he wants to fly back with her on the 25th and she can get her travel agent in Cairo to book the flight!!!

I just called Ahmed to say MABROUK!!! I can't believe it, :dance::dance::dance::lol::lol::lol::dance::dance::dance:

03/03/2010 - Oath Ceremony in Brooklyn

03/13/2010 - U.S. Passport in hand

Dec. 31, 2006 - OUR WEDDING!!! Ringing in a New Year as husband & wife!

Jan 8, 2007 - applied for SSN

Jan 15, 2007 - recieved SSN

Feb 6, 2007 - checks cashed for AOS/EAD/AP - YAY!

Feb 8, 2007 - NOA1 on AOS/EAD/AP

Feb 14, 07 - touched EAD/AP

March 8, 07 - Biometrics appt in NOLA

April 17, 07 - AP approved

07-25-06 - Visa issued (15 months after filing including 199 days of AP/AR)

WooHoo!!! another update now!

Ahmed just sent me a text msg to say that he had the passport with the visa inside of it. I didn't think the courier service delivered at midnight, LOL!!! But that's Egypt for ya!

I think he will be celebrating tonight . . . and he was on his way somewhere with family so I will have to wait to talk to him.

December 15 -- 2006 -- ENTERS USA

Took 130 Days from NOA2 until case complete
