I called NVC today coz yesterday was the 6th week since they received my papers. The agent told me that they will put it on supervisor review and that I have to call back by the end of the week. Hopin

Hello everyone!

Anyone here filing for parents this month? I sent my petition for my mom and dad on July 8, 2016. USCIS Arizona received it on July 12, 2016 and routed my case to Nebraska the same day. Praying for a smooth I- 130 process...

Hi there, i am planning to submit one for my father at the end of this month. will keep you in loop.

We filed IR5 last December, sent from Chicago to Nebraska. Very smooth process NOA1 within 2 weeks even tbough it was the holiday period, then sent to NVC 4 months later....a month earlier than tbe published dstes led us to expect . Hope yours goes well too! We have our consulate interview in 3 weeks!

Hi everyone!

I sent my petition for my mother on July 1. Received date on the form was July 8, and USCIS Arizona routed the case to Nebraska.

AOS PROCESS:

10/08/2011- Sent AOS, EAD and AP thru USPS Priority Mail

10/13/2011- NOA1 via text/e-mail notification

10/14/2011- Check cashed

10/19/2011- NOA1 hardcopy received in mail

11/01/2011- Biometrics appointment schedule

12/05/2011- EAD/AP approved

12/15/2011- Combo card received in the mail

02/07/2012- AOS interview approved

ROC PROCESS:

11/09/2013

Hi Everyone!

I just checked USCIS website and it says the petition for alien relative was approved on august 9. It's exactly 30 days after filing the petition.That was fast! I haven't received NOA 2 in the mail yet,though. Waiting for NOA 2 in the mail... Does anyone know how long does it take to hear from NVC and get the case number assigned after USCIS approved the petition?

Were you able to see the update online as soon as you received NOA1 letter in the mail? The receipt date on mine was August 5, but the receipt number provided is still not recognized in the system.

02/23/2017 - sent NVC packets via USPS Priority Mail (note: I have to wait for my mom's police certificate, so there was a bit of a delay before I can send the package)

02/27/2017 - packets received at 11:30 am signed by N Visa Center

03/01/2017 - Scan Date

05/06/2017 - Case Completed

05/12/2017 - NVC scheduled the interview!

06/02/2017 - Medical (06/14 to 06/15 - Dad's Sputum Test)

Hi Sheila526! Yes,i was able to see the update online even before receiving the NOA 1.I saw the update online since i got the e mail and text message that the case was received by USCIS.

Thanks! I've tried checking them online when I received the text message and the email, but no luck, even with receiving the letter in the mail??
