Little background so you guys know about us and the situation.

We've known each other for about 8 months at this point, dating for almost 7 months. We met online through some friends and just clicked. From then on we always Skyped, texted throughout the day, and always keep in contact with each other. She visited for two weeks in May and it was the most wonderful two weeks of my life!

We have plenty of evidence of our relationship (chat logs, movie tickets, photos, videos, etc.).

I'm not sure how much race matters, but putting it in here anyways just in case it's important information. I'm a Filipino (US Citizen) who wants to petition my (will be) Fiancé who is Dutch. I say "will be" because we already know we want to get married, she just doesn't have the ring yet since it's in transit.

Before you dive in, I just want to apologize for the wall of text and all the questions. Thank you to anyone who goes through all of it! I appreciate it soooooooo much!

Questions regarding I129-F:

  • Part 1, Section 2 (All of it): Okay, so here's my situation. I'm living in a town that is not my permanent residence. I'm on an internship about 2 hours away from home. However, once my fiancée comes we'll be living at my actual home. Now the question is, for the mailing address do I put my address now or the address of the residence where we'll be staying once she gets here?

  • Part 1, Section 3: I was not born in the US. When I was 6 years old my family (parents and 2 sisters) were brought here because my grandma had petitioned for my father. Now within the past years, my parents became citizens (through naturalization, I think?) and I was under 18 years old so I became a citizen "through parents". Question is, would I have an A-Number? I assumed I would since I was not originally a US Citizen.

  • Part 1, Section 13 (All of it): Like the previous question, would I have a Certificate of Citizenship?

  • Part 2, Section 11: Would my fiancée have an A-Number?
  • Part 2, Section 12: This is probably an extremely stupid question, but would she have a US Social Security Number? I assume not
  • Part 2, Section 34.a: How long does this section have to be? Because I could write an essay, but do they want me to condense it to a paragraph or two? Also, if I add a supplemental sheet do I have to write anything in the given lines like "See supplemental sheet"?

Questions regarding G-325A:

  • 1st row, 2nd box from the right (Citizenship/Nationality): What do I put under this? I'm getting confused at Nationality. I assume I'm going to put United States? Or some variation of that, like US? Just wanted to make sure
  • 1st row, 1st box from the right (File Number): Is this the same thing from above (A-Number)? I assume it is and whatever the answer from there is going to apply to here.
  • 2nd row, 1st box on the right (U.S. Social Security No.): Would I need to put the hyphens on here or just type out the numbers? Basically do I put [XXX-XX-XXXX] or [XXXXXXXXX]?
  • 3rd row, 1st box on the right (City and Country of Residence of parents): My parents live here in America. Should I put [City, State] or [City, State, US]?
  • 4th row, all of it: Do I have to explicitly state "None" for all sections or just the first?
  • 5th row, all of it: Same as the "4th row" question
  • Residence portion: Like stated above, I'm currently in my non-permanent home. Do I still put this address on there?
  • Employment portion: I've only been employed the past one and a half years. Do I state "None" with the dates after I put my other employments?

Thank you for any/all answers! I've been stressing out a bit on this whole process, and this should give me some peace of mind knowing all this.

I think you're reading too much into the questions. Your address is your address now...not something it may be in the future. Put N/A or none to anything that doesn't apply. List your employers and the dates of employement in the past 5 years (I think or whatever timeframe they ask for). You don't have to account for each year of unemployment. If there was only one in the past 5 years then just list that one with the proper dates of employment. Your fiance may or may not have an alien number, if not put "none". Most likely will not have a SS#, but if they do list it. 34a should be short, sweet, and to the point. Date and location of meeting. I listed date and place of first original meeting and then when we met the first time in person. That is all they are looking for, a couple short sentences. If you put it on another sheet, you can put "see attached" in the lines.

Don't make this harder than it is. It's just simple, straight forward. Don't stress your self out. The example forms are helpful too.

Good Luck!

Hey, thanks for the fast reply! And yeah, I'm definitely guilty of looking too much into it. I'm just really scared of messing something up and delaying the whole process. Thanks for all the information and the link. I really need to just calm down about this whole thing and tackle it with a level head :')
