I have been SUPER nice up until now but I am starting to get annoyed. I will give it another week & then call them again. I realize 55 days isn't much but for the vsc, it is a long time. especially since they are working on petitions filed after mine.

Hope we're not under some sort of admin review :(

Just thought I could send a "hey did you forget about us?" e-mail!!!!!!!!

Irish, I know it's hard but calling the USCIS will get you the exact same response I gave you.

Rule #1 is don't compare your case to others.

Try to hang in there!

Oh I am but I am a little frustrated, even if I didn't look at others processing times(which is near impossible)I would still be freaking b/c vsc is typically pretty fast.

I was just wondering if an e-mail would generate another response-or well at least something

Thanks Richi,

I appreciate your help! It IS stressful & people do handle things differently, some people stress about 15 days & some don't stress until 150..................I am new to all this & although it is advised to never compare timelines-that is damn near impossible when you see the new posts everyday. There is nothing to do BUT compare your timeline with others!!!!!

Have a good night everyone

I agree 100% about comparing timelines. I did it and drove myself and everyone around me crazy.

I was processed through Vermont and waited 76 days between NOA1 and NOA2. That being said, going into this process, I figured it would take 4-6 months to get the visa based on my research of the timelines. Carlos had the interview today and we got approved! In 5 1/2 months- well within what I anticipated.

Hang in there. Surely your wait is almost over at VSC but you'll probably end up waiting for something else later down the line. I hope not, but it could happen.

When I would call to check on the application at VSC, they were friendly to me but couldn't give me much information. Try to be patient and concentrate on more productive things...
