Hello all,

I have just mailed my application for removal of conditions and it arrived yesterday the 18th.

But I have also received yesterday in the mail the form I-797C notice of action for biometric appointment that was issued on the 7th.

And this notice is not a response to my I-751 application. Rather it is about my I-485 and I-765 that were already approved almost two years ago.

I've had my permanent resident card since October 2014 with no problem.

And this biometric appointment is scheduled for the Kansas office in late July. But I have moved to another state about 4 months ago and made the change of address with the USCIS.

Do you think they sent me this notice for the biometric appointment assuming that I would apply for removal of conditions anyways within this 90 days period?

This is very confusing. I have called the customer service line but couldn't get an answer by the person there.

What other ways can you think of I should do to handle this situation?

Thank you.

Schedule an infoPass appointment and talk to an officer to get it sorted out.

If the USCIS office isn't completely out of the way from your location, you can schedule the next available infoPass appointment but go to the office on an earlier date and let them know that you need to get this sorted out before your biometrics appointment.

Sometimes, if the security is understanding and the office isn't too busy, they will let you go ahead to see an officer.
