NOA-2 129f sent to consulate?

my NOA2 said the same, it got to NVC after 5 weeks and is now on its way to Germany. Nothing to worry about!

I never got any help from NVC / takes so long just to get anyone to answer

the system seems to be an answering suboffice that deals with phone calls

they do not have access to your case and that is why someone says asks for Tier 2 as that is an actual immigration officer

Yeah i was told it was still at uscis on someones desk 3 weeks later they were gonna send to to NVC expidited dought it though...

I wrote the month of april as 5 instead of 4 the rest right an obvious typo uscis says case will be red flagged nvc said dont worry...

No one knows anything this is such a roller coaster we are on....

Lets pray we all get answers at least the ones waiting... Thanks to everyone for the answers help calm me down

This is really terrible that they would hold a file just for a typo!!! How come they never noticed that before and sent you RFE to fix it? I wonder if this means they are really doing the background check after the NOA2 and approval of petition at USCIS prior to sending the file to NVC. I hope they will fix this typo and send your file to NVC. The typo was an honest mistake and they should have took care of it in less time. Good luck, hold on tight you will get your case number!!

Anitafeliz, I feel your frustration. I'm waiting 6 weeks today and my case is not at the NVC. I called USCIS today and finally a tier 2 called back and told me not to call them anymore that it was sent already (but they wouldn't give me a date as to when it was sent)

They said it is at NVC and NVC has to "process" the case before it shows up that it is received in their system. To wait. It can take 90 days to show up in their system every case is different.

I feel I've tried every route and got no answers. I emailed NVC research and also I am faxing over my request to my local senators office. All I can do is wait at this point and wish for the best.

farzram, they might be doing more back ground check on your case since it is related the embassy in Afghanistan which is considered high risk. Hope you get your case# soon ...

Your right! I've been so caught up on why my case isn't there I didn't even think of the country being so high risk! I hope your right and thanks for your kind words. I will keep you all updAted. Thank you!

Im stressed i just got off the phone tier 2 they told me my case was held at uscis i put the wrong dob on this app i put 5 for april instead of 4 .....

He told me prepare to have the case denied at interview since i dont know his correct birthday

I also did the samething but they told me they can change it at the interview and it's not a big deal.

Congrats...if they NVC did not give you case number and told you to call back in a week or so...just call tomorrow and you will have both case and invoice number...
