I'm so happy- I just spoke with the most helpful and kind NVC rep- My case was mailed out today to Ankara! (I phoned because when I called the automated system- they had no record of my case at NVC) This kind man informed me, that K-1's do not get entered into the automated system because they exit so quickly to the embassies abroad--- SOOO...

Nvc rarely holds on to K-1 and it also rarely puts it into the automated phone system.

July 10- Visa in hand!!!

September 26 2007- Omer arrives JFK POE

November 23 2007- Married!

February 23 2008 Finally sent AOS to Chicago

March 4 2008 NOA1 for all 3 AOS documents (rcvd from Missouri Center?)

March 26 Biometrics

March 28 EAD touch

March 29 RFE- Birth Cert. translation :(

April 8- RFE received; case resumed processing (at National Benefits Center)

April 11- Case transferred to California Service Center

April 29 - EAD and AP approved... finally honeymoon in Mexico!

May 29- AOS approved e-mail received!!!!!!

June 7- Greencard arrived in mail!

Congratulation for such a quick turnaround. I thought my case would be approved right after yours. This shows that VSC clients do get different treatment (lol). Some go through the speedy fast lane and others through the slow lane. Just joking, I am glad to be on the VSC lane than the CSC one. I just need to be a little bit patient with the whole process (which is hard knowing that administrative process is the only thing separating you from the one you love).
