Here are four questions that now loom over Speech Breach:

1) Trump aide Meredith McIver acknowledged Wednesday that she had included some of Michelle Obama's convention speech in her research notes and then included those notes in the speech. It is a fairly common transgression that is usually resolved with a simple apology. So why did the Trump campaign initially argue that no language had been purloined, thereby dragging this story out for several days?

2) McIver said in her statement she is an in-house writer at the Trump Organization. She does not show up on campaign payroll through the end of May. Did the campaign pay her on a freelance basis for this speech, or is the campaign simply relying on corporate resources for political purposes (a no-no in the campaign finance world)?

3) McIver said she offered Trump her resignation, but he rejected it, saying people make innocent mistakes. It is a nice show of loyalty. But why did Trump then force McIver to issue a statement under her own name and take the fall for the whole kerfuffle instead of issuing the apology himself?

4) Melania Trump's speech was her biggest moment of this presidential campaign, and the first introduction most Americans would have to her. Why didn't Melania Trump continue to use professional political speechwriters, instead of relying on a longtime employee who has ghost-written a host of Trump books?

In the grand scheme of things, it matters not one whit. Who cares? Maybe someone did it to mock Michelle. Maybe the writer thought the previous speech fit how Melania acts and treats her husband. Something that I am sure Billary don't share.

If you want to be indignant, how about showing it towards Hillary for lying to your face? Does that not bother you? Sure does bother me. A lot more than a copied speech. By someone who isn't even running for office.

I don't want to be indignant, but I do want to respect the process of selecting a president.

The topic was the speech and where the words came from...it looks like we have 80% of the story: Poor planning, lack of resources, unqualified staff, large egos and a slapdash ethics....pretty much a good analysis of the Trump campaign.

Sniper fire...well she retracted that a week later and she was refelecting on events 10 years prior...have we really seen a pattern of her exagerating these types of events? Are you putting this on par with Brian William's epsiode(s)?

You do have to admit it is a bit ballsy for a first lady to go into war zone.

The Emails...I see carlessness and lack of oversight.

as far as lying l most of this gets down to knowledge and intent. There is no perjury...There definately were falsehoods...I dont think we can prove lying...but knock yourself out.

By the way Poltifact found more than 10 falsehoods in Trumps famous Hillary as a world class liar speech. Not sure I want to call him a world class liar ...but I dont trust him to tell the truth.
