Really? He still needs to quit his job though but we will deff renew it then! Thank you! Do i just send in the same forms i did last time? Ive googled it but not getting much information on it.

Apparently im not very good at this and probably should have had help.

Yes, but you will check that it is a renewal and provide a copy of the card(front and back), copy of the I-485 filing receipt notice, and 2 passport photos.

Explain that better. I don't understand why you fill out TB screening paperwork. A doctor says yay or nay to whether you are cleared of TB.

First time we sent in GC information, we left it out totally. Second time, we didnt have the correct form filled out by the doctor. We just sent in the actual documents with no other information.

You were cleared of TB at Knightsbridge clinic. You don't seem to understand your RFE (or can't explain it properly) so it could be you didn't respond correctly the second time so they can't approve you without proper stuff. Can't approve, then they have to deny at some point.

That was my initial thought as well when sending in the GC information. I was wrong. (I'm actually doing all this for my husband because hes basically useless)

We then got a notice in the mail and it says "The office was unable to complete the processing of your application without further information" Then at the bottom where it says what we need...

"Form 1-693, (which i so stupidly didnt read or understand clearly enough) Medical examination seeking AOS. You must have an examination for tuberculosis. See instructions" blah blah blah.

The second time i sent it in we did it correctly by an approved doctor. They filled it out for us.

So you had in the US a full medical exam, TB skin test, blood test, shots and got all seven or so pages of the I-693 filled out by a civil surgeon. Then he gave you a photocopy and he did the following---

Follow these steps:

1. Place the Form I-693 and any supporting documentation into an envelope.

2. Seal the envelope.

3. On the front, write in capital letters: "DO NOT OPEN. FOR USCIS USE ONLY."

4. On the back, write your initials across the seal where the flap meets the envelope.

5. Seal the entire flap with clear tape. Make sure the tape covers your initials as well as the flap.

6. Give the sealed envelope to the applicant.

And you checked your photocopy to make sure it was all filled and signed?

And you mailed it with a tracking number so you are certain it was delivered?

And you included the RFE sheet with it?

If so, then probably not that.

This is a question not for the OP of this thread, but for other members who may have a past experience. Can Kittentard go to a local office in person), assuming there is an office near, and turn the application in? if that is possible, would she get a receipt so her husband can show that he's in process of renewing the card and being able to keep the job?

I don't really know if this is possible, I hope she can do it this way, so her husband doesn't have to loose his job. What do you think?

All of that was done, yes.

Wouldn't one think to go through the whole application to make sure its right and pull out what needs to be fixed and then notify us. Instead of pulling one item a a time out so we get it right in one go?

This would be amazing.

I feel like the worst person ever honestly. He was worried about it and i kept telling him it should be fine. I messed up bad and hes paying for it. Well, we both are considering im taking over the bills obviously. Im sending in the EAD today with a letter asking if they can speed it up with hopefully a good reason.

Yes, from my experience, a case status message using that language means they've issued a Notice of Intent to Deny (NOID).

If your response to a NOID isn't sufficient then it becomes a real denial.

You may be able to file a Motion To Reconsider/Re-open depending on the exact nature of the denial.

You may be able to re-file if you remain eligible for the benefit you're seeking, should a MTR not work or you choose not to file one.
