Check this out - these kids at Lexington High School are not allowed to go to prom using their own transportation - driving OR limos. I understand the desire to protect people from drunk drivers, but seriously, at least let them take a limo if they want. They're trying to curb underage drinking. If they want to drink, they're going to drink... a BUS? To PROM?

Can you imagine walking up the stairs of a bus in your cute little prom gown??

LOLOL, I went to prom in a bus. Went to boarding school and we were all required to take the bus, even the day students. It was actually fun!

I'm watching it on the news right now - it looks like they want to put them on those cute old towne type trolleys. It actually looks like it MIGHT be fun!

The bus I rented is a mini-club bus. He drove all the way from NYC! It has a large display on the wall, with disco lights inside. It was a blast!

Yeah, for a growed up it's the smart, logical thing to do to keep your kids safe. For the teens, who for the first time are going to prom and have heard about it for years and dreamed about pulling up in a limo, I can see the problem!!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

All those years waiting for the Hummer Limo ride and they are going on a school bus... It's safer but it does takes the magic of the ocassion for some of them.

Personally, I know I would have had a lot of fun in the bus! WOOO! :dance::dancing:

If the biggest disappointment about the prom is that they have to take a cute trolley with a bunch of other teens and not a limo, then they are pretty lucky.
