Dumb mistake on biometrics form and now worrying

Hi all,

I have a question. My eyes are kind of browny-green, and look different in different light. When I sent in my N-400, we filled it in as green, but when I went to do biometrics (my third visit all told) I thought they looked more brown and they put that in the biometrics machine. Now I am panicking that this discrepancy will get in the way of my citizenship process in some way.

Anybody know anything about this?

I'm guessing that you're probably over thinking it. Eye color is notoriously unreliable.

Who knows, maybe your case is handled by someone like me who is green-brown colorblind.

I cannot remember but was hazel an option? That may have resolved it. My mother's eyes were a brownish green as a child and now they're medium brown. No sweat.

Something that simple can be fixed by your interviewer if it is a concern. Now if you forgot to mention you are a drug dealer and have two spouses at once, that could be a problem. Don't swat the small stuff.

Thanks. I do tend to worry. Thankfully, that's the only concern I have about my application, Nich-Nick! I'll mention the eye color to the IO when I get my interview. Probably should have put "hazel."

They go over your entire application verbally, line by line so you have opportunity to correct anything else at that time.

Hi guys,

I made a mistake closer to this as well. For me it is my weight, my normal weight is around 150 lb and this is what I wrote on my N400. But I mistakenly wrote 170lb on the biometric form. I know weight can change but a change of 20lb in less than a month might raise questions.

Should I go and request to change or take another biometric, or will I have a chance to change it at interview.

I am worrying about it.

Your change of weight whether on paperwork or in reality would be last thing those officers would be looking at. You are worrying for no reason. Just relax.

Thank you @arken, that is what I thought at the beginning but the more I think about it the more I get frustrated and worry, so I decided to ask for suggestions.
