Hello everyone, I just received my packet from NVC and have been gathering all my documents and such to send it in asap as to keep things moving quickly on my case. I had a question/concern. On my letter from NVC it stated that "we will schedule your relative's case for a visa interview at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in SANAA, YEMEN." Also, the case was given a Sanaa case number. When I checked the US Embassy's site the last update in June stated that they were scheduling appointments for Djibouti. Does anyone know if they will be opening the Embassy Sanaa up for interviews or consular services? Or will they transfer it? Thanks for any help in advance!

Hi everyone, just an update. Contacted NVC, they will be automatically forwarding case to Embassy in Djibouti due to security situation in Yemen still being unstable. Wanted to update everyone just in case someone received a similar letter and was confused like I was, and save you a phone call.

Hello tank88,

My case was completed one week before yours in the nvc. It took it almost three months after i send everything they told me over the phone to scan it and send it electronically over the phone because my case in the beginning started with saa and the the guy told me don't believe them it's going to slow you down mail it to them better and I didn't believe him and found out he was right. What about you how did u send them by mail or scanned them?!

Hi Yashuel12, I mailed in all my documents to NVC. It took them a little over 6 weeks to review. As of this past week it has completed and they will be scheduling an appointment for my husband in Djibouti, so I am just eagerly waiting on that. Not sure how long to wait for the appointment, but I'm hoping its soon.
